September 2023 – Indoor Bowls Update

Welcome members,
It is great to see some sun and warmer temperatures after our bitterly cold wind and rain recently.
The winners of our Club drawn Championship Triples were Mike King, Katie-Rae Boticia and Donna Matthews who got down to the semi finals in the Champion of Champions Triples. Great effort.

The winners of our Club drawn mixed pairs were Chris and Donna Matthews who then went in to win the Champion of Champion Mixed Pairs. Awesome result, Congratulations. The runners up were Mike King and Bev Diamond.
The Canterbury Chartered Club Mixed Pairs were won by Darryl Gallagher and Katie-Rae Boticia. This was Katie’s first Canterbury Chartered Club title. Congratulations Katie.
The winners from the Bush Kennedy were Hornby B consisting of Dave Bullock, Mike King, James Alderidge, Alister Graham and Pat Boticia Snr, over Hornby A including Justin Thompson, Pat Boticia Jnr, Darryl Gallagher and Leo Ashby. They won by half an end. Fantastic effort Hornby.
