September 2023 – Billiards / Snooker Update

Hi all,
We are pretty busy at the moment with a lot of tournaments happening, plus our interclub snooker is only halfway through. We are still playing section play in the Club Open.
We had the South Island snooker pairs at Richmond last month, which Brent Jones and Rob Redgrove winning for the second year in a row.
The national singles were played at the end of August, there were a couple of Hornby players there, we will let you know next month how they went, as it’s being played while I’m writing this!
I’ll also have to let you know next month how Brent Jones and Gary Hale get on in the national pairs. They are going for a hat trick!
