October 2025 – Pool Update

Interclub pool is playing the penultimate round tomorrow evening (Tuesday 23/9) with a couple of Hornby teams in contention for playoff positions.
Premier Hornby Gold are secure in sixth place and will be facing their likely playoff opponent, Richmond Vikings, in the last round coincidentally.
Division 1 Hornby Silver should maintain their third spot going into playoffs.
Division 2 Hornby Diamondz need to play a good match to maintain their sixth place on the table and secure a playoff spot.
Division 3 Hornby Black have a very secure place at the top of the table and will gain the promotion into Division 2 next season, as well as the bye going into the playoffs. They have been the team to beat in the 3rd Division all season.
The Jamie Reece B Grade was played on 14th September; Letitia Jackson has continued her successful season by beating Dennis
Thompson in the final to take the title for the year.
The Timaru Town and Country Club held their annual tournament on Sunday.
John Gower was the runner up in the Main draw, also notable was Paul Morris into the semis and Davy Donohoe into the Quarters. Well played in a tough field.
