May 2024 – Mid-week Bowls Update

Welcome to May, we are just about halfway through the year. We held our AGM on Tuesday 16 April, and we had a fantastic turnout of members. All the present Committee decided to carry on for another year so a big thank you to you all.
The afternoon bowls is going strong with new members increasing month on month which is great to see. We are currently planning a couple of upcoming trips one being our annual trip to Ashburton RSA this is always a great trip and is well supported.
We meet every Tuesday afternoon from 12.45pm finishing around 3pm.If you have never played or it’s been a while since you last played, then come along and give it a go. The committee would also like to thank the lovely ladies that set up the water urns and glasses for us ever week, it is very much appreciated.
