March 2024- Outdoor Bowls Update

Game two for the 2024 season was for the Webster Trophy.
Once again, the section would like to thank the team at Bowls Hornby for hosting us. After the final bowl was delivered, the team of Dick Wragg (S) Sarelda Rossouw (2nd) and Marie McLeod (L) were declared the winners. Congratulations, it was a real team effort.
The conditions for bowls were great and we continue to see our numbers increase with every game. So, if you would like to join us for an afternoon of (F.F.F.) Fun, Friendship and Frivolity, please check out the club noticeboard and contact anyone on the committee.
March 17 may be St Patrick’s Day but it is also going to be a great day to go bowling “Somewhere” on our Mystery Bus Trip. The list is growing fast so book your ride now. The sheet is on the club noticeboard and closes on the 9th of March.
