March 2025 – Outdoor Bowls Update
Saturday 1 Mar, 2025
With rugby knocking on our door, you would wonder what time of the year it is. Our outdoor bowlers lined up again at our “Home” green to contest the Webster Trophy on Sunday 23rd February.
You would think after the days play that everyone had won. Going by the chatter and social interaction. But not to be, the winning team of Dave Richards, Ivan Swain, John Bowley (s) and Noel Webb got the Trophy by a slim margin.
Many thanks again to Keith and his team at Bowls Hornby for hosting us.
