March 2025 – Fishing Update

Hi all. We have the South Island Trout Competition this month, 14th-15th, there’s 13 Section members going, good luck to those attending.
The Jack Elcock Memorial at Lake Brunner is being held 4th-5th April and is always a great weekend away.
We are having a Kid’s Surfcasting fun day at Coopers Lagoon. This will be in April, date still to be confirmed. Any member of the club is welcome to bring their child/children along. You will have to pre-register your child before, so we know how many will attend, we will have posters up around the club once done with all the information.
Looks like Jason and Janelle had a great weekend in Kaikoura.
