March 2025 – Darts Update

Hello again and welcome to March. It’s always a busy time for darts starting with the South Island championships (February 26th-March1st). It will be finished by the time you read this so I will guesstimate the results.
Mixed pairs will produce two excellent results being Jorden and Sarah along with Kayden and Vernalee, both pairs in the top four. Men’s and Ladies pairs are both on the 27th and both our DTH will defend their titles. Ladies’ singles are on the 28th and we’re picking Raewyn to win.
Men’s singles are on Saturday March 1st and a big day for Kayden, but he has
a lot chasing him including his pairs partner Jorden, so we expect some great darts. Our two young stars, Tyler and Max, can easily win the youth title now Kayden is over that age group. Of course, we have plenty others that just need to perform on the day so good darting to all.
A reminder that the national entries close on March 30th. Our AGM is on March 11th in the boardroom followed by the president’s trophy starts at 7pm.
