June 2025 Update Indoor Bowls

Well members, we are halfway through the year already – not sure where the months have disappeared to.
Our Club Fours winners were Leo, Justin, Diane and Alister who will now go to the Champion of Champions later in the Season. Good Luck.
The second-place team consisted of Bruce, Jenny, Pat (Senior), and Jude.
John Barltrop was third equal in the Canterbury Henselite Singles (photo attached). Awesome result John.
John and Keren Beckett were also runner-up in the Canterbury Chartered Clubs Pairs played recently at the Richmond Club – you are both having a great season. Awesome result.
Keren also recently won the Canterbury Veteran Pairs with Brad Henry (Tui Club) at the CIBA (photo attached)
Our Club singles recently completed was won by Dixon Chapman who will now go on to compete in the Champion of Champions later in the season.
The runner-up was Bev Diamond, with Tony Anderson and Pat Boticia (Junior) tied for third place.
The NZ/Canterbury Mixed fours played recently at the CIBA saw Dave Woods, Mike Johnson (St Paul’s Club) Bev Diamond and Jude Will get 2nd – great effort as first time ever playing together (photo attached)
Darryl Gallagher was in the winning team playing through the Owls Club. Congratulations Darryl.
