June 2025 – Mid Week Bowls Update

By the time this goes to print we will be halfway through the year. We have had a busy month; our annual AGM was held on the 29th of April and things are looking good.
I would like to welcome two new members to our committee; they are Mary Foggo and David Baker. Also, this month on the 23rd of May, we had our annual trip to the Ashburton RSA. We left the Hornby Club at 10.30am, arriving just on noon, there was many road works alongthe way, we were held up for approx. 20min at one time, so it turned into a long trip. We had a beautiful lunch then a great afternoon of bowls, finishing the afternoon off with a fabulous afternoon tea put on by the RSA bowling section.
We left at 4pm for the return journey home. Once again welcome to all our new members that have joined over the past month.
