July 2025 – Racing Update

Hello all
Well, it’s been a very quiet month of June with no specific racing section events. We did put forward a team in the ALL SPORTS night, and I am happy to announce we improved from the 11th (last) in our first outing to 4th place on this night. I was put on the ballot and ended up refreshment runner, so maybe this was the key to their succuss!
We have our combined outing at Addington raceway coming up on 6th July alongside the Kaiapoi and New Brighton Clubs. We are all looking forward to it. The A – Z competition has only seven weeks to run and the top three are only separated by five points and this Is starting to attract some friendly banter amongst those at or near the top.
That’s about all from us this month, as I mentioned earlier, it’s a little slow in winter but we are working on some exciting events in the near future so keep an eye on notice board in the TAB / SPORTS corner.
