February 2025 – Pool Update

On the face of it, this is a quiet time on the Pool front. Having said that, there is a lot of background work being done, sorting out the coming season, forming teams and planning our in-house tournaments.
If you want to get involved with Pool this season, there is a tournament or interclub team for every skill level. Please contact our section Chair, Pauline Laugesen (number is in the section list in the magazine) and join the section. Teams will be finalised towards the end of February, so get in while there is time.
Our Summer Pool League is winding down, with the last few weeks of round robins coming up.
There are clear leaders in both the Summer Leagues, Lee Brady and Andy Parke on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, the battle is who is going to be who will be the runner-up.
