February 2025 – Fishing Update

Hi all
We hope everyone had a great Xmas, and wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
There hasn’t been much happening with the Fishing Section over the holidays. We are going to try and get Surfcasting back up and running this year, if there’s any club members interested in this, please come and see us.
We have the Clubs NZ South Island Trout Fishing Tournament on the 14th-15th March, this is being held at the Te Anau Club. There’s 12 Section members attending this event.
We also have our annual Interclub Fishing Competition at Lake Brunner on the 4th-5th April, this is known as the Jack Elcock Memorial.
