February 2024 Travel Update

Hello to all,
I hope you are all back to normal again now after your holidays.
Did you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year? Travel section is now back into the swing of things.
Derek organised a lovely Christmas dinner at the club on 15 December with the band Chur Bro entertaining again. The dinner was excellent and the band, as usual, were very good. A smaller crowd than usual were a bit slow in hitting the dance floor. We had just 54 people attend.
We had our first monthly meeting for the year, and we had a very good turnout.
Derek has organised a trip on the Kaiapoi River Cruise on 18 February. There is a notice on the board. The coach will depart from Hornby Club at 10.30am. He is also organising a trip for Thursday 24 March to visit Rakaia Farm Ltd and we will be having lunch on completion of the visit.
Our next monthly meeting will be held on Monday 19 February. Kind regards
