With Summer Darts underway and several major events behind us, there’s plenty happening across the Hornby darts community. Here’s what your club has been up to over the past month!
Hornby A shone brightly at this year’s Upper Grades Champ of Champs, taking out 1st place. A fantastic result and a real credit to the team’s consistency and teamwork. Well done to Jordan Whyte, Elliot Hitchings, Lance Odgers and Doug bull.
Our Hornby women continued to set the standard — and this month they brought home the title! Hornby – 1st Place. A brilliant effort. Well done Sarah Pitama, Maata Atkins, Andrea Coburn and Leana Hodges.
This month we were proud to host this year’s CCCCDA / BWC / Nelson-Marlborough Tri-Series, and what a brilliant day of darts it was! Both the men’s and ladies’ sides contributed strongly to Canterbury’s overall win, showcasing depth and talent at the oche. A special mention to all Hornby players who took the stage—you helped drive the region to victory and represented Hornby with pride.

Summer darts kicked off on 5 November, and we’re now into Week 3. Early signs look great across all teams — keep the momentum going and enjoy the warmer-weather darts!
