Cribbage Update 2023 – November 2023

We have had a few quiet weeks of cards but still very enjoyable games.
Our second aggregate finished last week. Rose Stevens won with 69 points, Derek Petch was second with 63. The Margaret Woodham Trophy (this is a combination of both aggregates) was won by Rose Stevens on 135 points, Derek Petch was second with 122 points and Diane Heath third with 121 points.
Steve Stevens won the Charlie Gibson Trophy after a playoff with Helen Mitchell.
The Hornby Club did well at the South Island Tournament that was held at the
Papanui Club in September. Diane Heath and Rose Stevens came second to a pair from Kaiapoi, while our team also came second again to Kaiapoi.
