August 2023 Travel Update

Another month gone and another month closer to summer.
It won’t be long until we will be complaining that it’s too hot.
Unfortunately, the travel section had to cancel the 10 pin bowling outing followed by lunch due to a lack of interest. Though disappointing, sometimes these things happen. We do require minimum numbers to pay for a coach.
However, Derek is now organising an evening at the Court Theatre on 17 August followed by supper at the club on our return. This is having a good following.
Please put your name on board and money into office if you intend to participate. The final numbers for this are required by Friday 28 July.
We have a team arranged for the Allan Cole tournament on the 6 August, participants are required to meet at 12.45pm.
Remember our monthly meetings are always held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm.
