August 2023 Darts Update

Your local darts crew are all well and geared up for a big August.
Interclub is going great with six teams in the top half of their grades. The other three teams are in the bottom half of the grades and can only improve. August 4 and 5 is the Hamilton darts masters and most of the world’s top 8 will be here.
Among the eight local reps is our own Kayden Milne, who will be trying to go further than last year where he was beaten by Michael Smith after winning the first night. Picking a winner is almost as hard as winning lotto but we still try! My guess is Michael Smith to beat Gerwyn Price, but I hope I’m wrong and Kayden will upset them all. No Van Gerwen or Humphries.
The following week is the 56th Nationals at Porirua and nine of our crew will attempt to win a title so good luck.
