April 2026 – Table Tennis Update

The Canterbury Clubs Table Tennis inter club competition started on the 24th of March with the Hornby Club section entering 10 teams, one more than last season. Twenty two teams have entered, with the other clubs being Richmond and Kaiapoi.
The competition is played every fortnight through till September.
Three of our members played in the NZ Masters Games in Dunedin at the beginning of February. Andrew Barrett, Noel Ward, and Alison Cook came away with a huge collection of medals in the age groups of the table tennis competition (see below). Well done to all three of you.
Table tennis is played every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 10pm in the upstairs Events Centre. New members are always welcome.
