September 2022 All Sports Update

Hello,
Last month sections finally got to play a long awaited “All Sports Tournament”. This was the Dumbo Hampton Tournament. There were nine sections, with teams of 10 competing, on the night. The games played were, Pool, Darts, Mini Golf, Quoits, Indoor Bowls, and Euchre.
Everyone has a fun night trying to do well in these sports.
The overall section winners were the Darts on 20 pts, followed by Crib on 19pts, and Bowls on 17 1/2 pts.
We had a chance to win raffles on the night and finished off with a great supper. Thank you and well done to Moggy and the helpers who helped put this tournament on for our members.
The next All Sports Tournament will be the “Alan Cole Trophy” on Sunday 18 September. It is an afternoon of Euchre Card Games. This will be followed by a sports one the “Dick Bain Trophy ” on Friday October 7.
We Hope to see a big turnout for both of these events.
