Travel Update – December 2025

Travel sections final outing for 2025 was our Christmas Party held in the events hall at the Hornby Club on Friday 21st November. We had 66 members attend this outing and it turned out to be a very good party. We have only heard back positive comments to date.
The canapes served to the table were very well accepted, followed by a lovely supper approximately an hour later. Followed with tea, coffee and Christmas cake. This was served after we had given four of our members in the lucky draw half hams each. Good luck to you four.
The music supplied by Mack and Fran was fabulous. So lucky we found them six months ago playing in the No.4 Bar. The talent these two have is incredible, and the dozen that dragged themselves out to watch perform on a very wintry afternoon were all in agreeance to book. Congratulations to Greer, Phillipa and the other staff who made this evening a great success for us. Thank you.
Time to now take a break and look forward to 2026 with some future outings. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and thank you to the members supporting our travel section
