Pool Update – February 2026

Well, the start of a new season is looming very very quickly, it was a dot on the horizon not very long ago and now its here. Interclub will be starting on 4th February, an early start in the year forced by the increase in the number of teams being entered.
Hornby will be fielding an extra Premier team this year, the Hornby Hawks, to compliment the long standing Hornby Gold.
Two Division One and three Division Two teams this season, with two Division Three teams.
Teams are still looking for players so if you want to test your arm, get hold of someone from the section and we’ll find a team for you.
The in-house tournament program will be finalised shortly.
All the major National and Regional Tournaments are in Christchurch this year so local participation is anticipated to be very high.
Hornby is hosting the National Masters and National Ladies in June/July, pop upstairs and have a wee look to support your club mates.
