October 2021 Golf Update

Hello All, the Golf section sincerely hope you are all well.
A few weeks ago, the section headed up to Amberley for their monthly game of golf that happened to be our third round of our Club Championship. The course was presented in great condition but a cold wind straight off the ocean prevailed. About 34 players attended, with some travelling up in the Club Van. John Poole was the pilot. Many thanks to John. The main winners were Mike James, Andrew Ataera, Colin Ellison, Bob Harrison and Raylene Adler took out the Ladies grade. Well done to them.
The section’s next game is at Weedons on 10 October at 9am. It is the Allom Alers Pairs. This game you choose your own partner and it is a combined Stableford contest. Write your name or names up on the notice board at Hornby Club to play. If you do not have a partner, please put your name up and the team will organise you one. Turn up on the day early or give Geoff or Raylene a ring and we will go from there.
