October 2021 Euchre/Cards Update

Hello to all members,
We now move into October. The last six weeks, during our range of Covid Levels, have been difficult and challenging for all, especially our Hornby Club, but at some stage (hopefully soon) we will get down to Level 1 and back to some normality. By then we will have a chance to get back into our full Card Section activities within our normal Hornby Club.
At the time of writing this report, we have had to make the decision to cancel our organised bus trip on Sat 9 October to Oxford Club. The trip was going to include an afternoon of cards with lunch prior at Kaiapoi Club. However, due to the uncertainty of Covid Levels and Government announcements and the organisation required from all Clubs involved it has had to be cancelled.
Eventually, our Thursday Euchre nights will continue, and we wait in anticipation.
