November 2022 Indoor Bowls Update

Hi Members,
I hope everyone is well and looking forward to summer and warmer weather.
Well, we are at the end of our season for 2022.
The last results for the season were Canterbury Fours. Second was Dave Bullock and Justin Thompson who played with two players from Ellesmere. Great effort.
Our AGM dinner and prizegiving was held on Sunday 16 October at the Hornby Club with Trish Cole as our Patron attending and presenting the certificates and vouchers this year, replacing trophies as a trial and cost saving exercise.
Thank you to those who attended and for the new and existing members on the committee for 2023. It is always a challenge to find members willing to give up their time to volunteer and help on committees and so it is very much appreciated.
This is the final newsletter for the Indoor Bowls Section until the 2023 season.
We welcome any new members and existing members that due to covid over the last few years have been unavailable.
Keep an eye out for reopening dates for our 2023 season in the newsletter.
In the meantime, I wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and hope 2023 brings us all a happier New Year without all the interruptions.
