November 2022 Cribbage Update

Well, it’s been a busy month for Crib.
On Friday 7 October the Crib Section entered two teams into the Dick Bain All Sports which was fantastic as we are one of the smallest sections. It was the first Allsports for some and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It’s a great evening to mix and mingle and meet new people from other sections. Crib 1 team managed to take the win, which is awesome because we’re normally the little brother making up the numbers. So well done team.
We have just finished our second Aggregate with Gina Howden-Winter winning, second Ann Kavangh and third James Kavanagh. The overall winner of the combined aggregates for the Margaret Woodham trophy was Gina Howden-Winter. Congratulations.
On Wednesday 12 October, we played for the Thelma Dawson Trophy against the Euchre Section. Crib took the honours again with an average of 17.2% against euchre 11.86%. The winner of Crib was Ann Kavangh, and the winner of Euchre was Julie Cockburn. Thank you to the Euchre Section for a lovely evening.
