November 2021 Snooker Update

By the time you read this our temporary home for snooker will be closed. For the last couple of years we have been at Holt place, thanks to Brent Jones. A small crew will be dismantling the tables and getting the warehouse back to its original state. Hopefully we will be back into our new room in the new building around Christmas time.
The CBSA will be hosting The George Robertson Memorial Snooker Tournament at the Woolston Club on Saturday and finishing post section on the Sunday at Cuthberts Green. A lot of you will remember George, not only from snooker and billiards, but also outdoor bowls. With no Cup Day crowds I’m sure a few will gather at the club for a wee punt, so good luck and look out for your whanau and mates. If you haven’t seen someone for a while, pop around and knock on their door, not everybody has internet or cellphones.
