November 2021 Golf Update

Hi all,
The Golf Section played the Allom Allers pairs match in October at Weedons. The type of game played was combined Stableford. The course was in good order with the greens a bit quick for some. The winners on the day were Ken Melhopt and Andrew Ataera with a score of 72 points. Runners up were John Poole and Bob Harrison with 71 Points. Other notable finishers were Raylene and Dave 71, Janette and Gavin 68, Wayne and Pete 68.
On Sunday 7 November we are away to Rakaia for the Kibby White Trophy. This is a 10 am start. The Kibby White is a drawn game that is done on the day before play. The draw will be done possibly at 9 40 so fill your cards out and give them to either Geoff or Richard so you can go into the draw. The game is American Foursomes. There will be a barbeque provided by a top imported chef on the day. There will be a van provided on the day also. All you good people need to do, if you are interested in playing, is write your name up on the notice board at Hornby Club and we will go from there.
