May 2023 Outdoor Bowls Update

The section’s April bowls were played at the Racecourse Bowling Club, the first of three to be held there for our short winter bowls season.
These games have a 10.30 am start, with a break for lunch and finish before it gets cool.
Any person interested in playing can contact one of our committee members or place their name on the game sheet on our notice board at the Hornby Club.
Numbers were down a wee bit, so we played two bowl triples to accommodate player numbers. There was good weather and a light, but cool wind saw only one team having three wins. They are Peter Sutcliffe, Neville Houston and Marie McLeod.
