May 2022 Indoor Bowls Update

After two years unable to play at the Club due to renovations and covid, we had our first night on Thursday 21 April. A great turnout of 22 people including four new members. It was great finally catching up with our members, especially at the club, a lot of laughter and enjoyment had by all.
Well done to Mike King winning the Canterbury open singles in March, the first event for the new season.
David Bullock and Pat Hartland got second in the Osborne Pairs in April.
Mike King, David Bullock, Justin Thompson and Bev Diamond won the challenge shield from Richmond Club in April and will defend the shield early May against Ashburton. We wish them well.
