May 2022 Golf Update

On Sunday 27 March, 26 members of the golf section went to Scargill for a game.
We played an Ambrose and the winning team were John Sykes, John Farrell, Matt Lernihan and Collin Ellison. Thanks to Dave Kennedy for donating the prizes. The Scargill ladies made lunch, and it was a very enjoyable day had by everyone. On Sunday 10 April we played for the Sexton Trophy at Waimakariri Gorge. This was a drawn partners game, and the winners were Mike James and Bob Harrison. Moggy cooked us a BBQ and this was enjoyed by us all. The weather was perfect. Our next game is at Greendale and is first round of the club championship. This game is on 8 May.
