May 2021 Outdoor Bowls Update

The April bowls game was the first of our three winters bowls matches, played at the Riccarton Racecourse Bowling Club and we had a perfect day weather wise. With this date clashing with a special meeting, of the Hornby Club, the numbers were down, so a special thanks to those who made it afterward and the organisers of the day for making and organising the draw to accommodate everybody. Only one team had two wins – the Dick Wragg skipped team with Sid Payne, Les Wilson and Derek Sheader.
All the winter games will be played at the Riccarton Racecourse Bowling Club. The next being on 23 May with the same start time of 10.30am.
