March 2023 Darts Update

The 54th South Island darts champs starts on 1 March and finishes on the 4th, so will be over by the time some of you read this.
The first day is mixed pairs, followed by the South Island premier club final between Kereru sports and culture club and Bluff memorial RSA. Day two is the Men’s and Ladies pairs starting two hours apart but run at the same time. Day
3 is the Ladies singles and then the Youth and Junior champs and day 4 is the Men’s singles, followed by prizegiving and after match function.
There are about 350 entries, which is a great turn out, as this was the tournament that was cancelled last year. Anybody wanting to watch are most welcome, but please be aware that cell phones MUST be on silence mode.
Winter entries close in two weeks, so if you intend on playing, get in touch with Maata now.
