Twenty-seven members played the first round of the golf section club championship at Greendale on Sunday 5th May. Best gross senior man was Mike James, best nett senior man was Jack Kīngi-Hazel. Best gross intermediate man was Sam Arayata. Best nett intermediate man was Peter Halliwell. Best Junior A gross was Colin Ellison. Best Junior A nett was Derek Petch. Best Junior B gross was Peter Middlemiss. Best junior B nett was Wayne Scott. Best gross ladies was Raylene Adler. Best nett ladies was Janette Benn. Our next game is at Rangiora on 16th June. Eight players are playing in the South Island mixed tournament at Kaiapoi on Kings Birthday weekend.
