June 2022 Cribbage Update

Kia Ora, Hello,
Well on Mother’s Day we held our Mother’s Day tournament which went well, we had eight tables and it was nice and relaxing playing cards inside on an overcast day with plenty of happy Mothers. We had three teams equal on 25 points so congratulations to Brent and Caren, Tim and Alan, Val and Barbara.On Sunday 22 May we held another tournament with seven tables. It was a fantastic day and fun was had by all. The winners on the day: in 1st place was Len and Alan with 32pts, 2nd Carol and Nora on 24pts and 3rd Ella and Lynn a mother/daughter combo. Well done with the Grandmother Nora beating them in 2nd place. We always enjoy seeing our friends from other clubs on these occasions.
