July 2022 Golf Update

At Queen’s Birthday weekend, seven players went to Ashburton to play in the South Island Mixed Tournament.
This was hosted by the Ashburton RSA and played at Tinwald Golf Course. Janette and David Benn were placed 13th out of 42 teams. It was a good weekend enjoyed by everyone.
On 12 June we played at Rangiora. The weather started out okay, but about two hours into the game the weather changed and made playing conditions difficult. Winners on the day were best nett for the men was Mike James on 74 on a count back from Peter Halliwell. Best nett for the ladies was Raylene Adler with nett 76. Our next game is at McLeans Island on 17 July.
