August 2022 Snooker Update

Kia Ora we have two pairs heading to the South Island pairs snooker at Blenheim in early August and a strong showing is expected by current South Island singles champ and the current national pairs champ in Rob Redgrove and Brent Jones. They will be backed by Bill Earle and Bruce Tibble. Our rooms are getting plenty of use. Just a wee reminder not to take food or talk on your phone whilst in the room. Our club nights on Thursday are well attended, with some inhouse events taking place.

There will be some changes to the faces at our weekly raffles with our current stalwart Andy Becker stepping down from the role later this year. A big thanks to Andy and helpers who give up their time to do this job. Any section member who has an hour or so to spare, we generally start our raffles on Thursday evenings straight after the club raffles. The funds all go back into our great game.
