April 2026 – Racing Update

Welcome to Autumn everyone. We have just about seen the last of our great grass track meetings for another summer (POOR SUMMER AT BEST). The Racing Section held a Sunday session which was well attended yet again, and the restaurant outdid themselves with amazing food.
We have seen the winners of A Z… it got very close at the end, but well done to the 1st place winners Maree MacGregor and Paddy Campbell. We have the prizegiving on 29th March, so I’ll have some stories and photos for next month’s edition.
For those who are not in the section and maybe wanting to find out a little more, please don’t hesitate to ask myself or Andy Rowe (Chair). We are always approachable and happy to answer any questions.
We are leasing a trotter through syndication for our section, so maybe you’d be keen to have great fun and an interest in racehorse ownership for very minimal cost… again, see Andy Rowe or me for more details.
