South Island Success – Hornby Leads the Way
The 57th South Island Darts Tournament, held at the Oamaru Club, proved to be an outstanding event. Credit must go to the venue, management, staff, and darts section for delivering a top-class setup and experience for all involved.
From a Hornby perspective — this was a tournament to remember.
Jordan Whyte Creates History
A massive congratulations to Jordan Whyte, who achieved an incredible trifecta:
• Men’s Singles Champion
• Men’s Pairs Champion (with Kayden Milne)
• Mixed Pairs Champion (with Sarah Pitama)
This is a rare feat, last achieved in 2003— an exceptional accomplishment.
Jordan also recorded:
• Men’s Most 180s
• Men’s Highest Finish – 170
A dominant performance across the entire week.

• Vernaleigh Brinsdon – Ladies Highest Finish (147)
• Hornby Club – Aggregate Trophy Winners (6.11)

Winter League & AGM Update
The Winter League gets underway on April 1st, with a strong turnout of 9 teams entered this season. Great to see the continued support — shaping up to be a competitive comp.
