April 2026 – Cricket Update

Sunday 22nd March was our last game for the season, and a great day weather wise, enjoyed by all.
We played the Geoff Wilson Memorial match against Hornby Cricket Club at Denton Park. We were set a target of 199 to win and fell short at 195.
Great team effort, and we look forward to next season already.
Thanks to all members for another successful season, and special thanks to Lesley for all her hard work making sure we are all fed well at our games.
The section had the sad loss of our team member Denis Leaver just recently. RIP.
