April 2026 – Cribbage Bowls Update

Another great day at Ferrymead Mini Golf. We had 29 attend, as one of our team was unwell, so our wonderful bus driver Bob joined in to make 30 players. With the temperature around 27, most of us were struggling at the end. The food was really lovely. After food we had prizegiving.
Women: 1st Karen Whale, 2nd Marie McLeod. A first time playing for both of these ladies.
Men: 1st Derek Petch, 2nd John Farrell.
We were taken on a tiki tour through the city on our way home. A great way to fill in 6 hours.
We have 8 players going to Porirua for Clubs NZ Nationals in April, which is very exciting — especially for Karen, as this will be her first tournament in the North Island. The results will be in the May Newsletter.
Our AGM is on Wednesday 8th April. After the meeting we will play 6 games of Crib.
