The interclub season is well underway with most Hornby teams there or thereabouts in the respective Divisional ladders.
Hornby Titan Premiers are sitting well up the leaderboard with three wins from four, and the loss by one frame in a close group. There are two Hornby teams in the top four in Division 1. Division 2 has the Hornby Diamondz leading by a fairly comfortable margin early on and Division 3 teams are up the board as well.
The Richmond Early Bird Tournament, held early in March, saw Hornby players contesting for trophies in both the main draw final and the Flight Final.
Rob Redgrove lost out closely to Josh Ielua from Richmond in the main draw, while the flight final was between two Hornby Titans team members, Paul Eastmond and Tony Gumley, with Tony taking bragging rights.
Upcoming tournaments are:
• Josie Bodger Singles on Sunday 7 April – for players who have never played Div 1 or Premiers
• Jamie Reece B Grade on Sunday 21 April.
