April 2024 – Golf Update

Forty-six players from Hornby and Ashburton MSA played on Sunday 24 March. We played a stableford game and Hornby managed to keep the Ashorn trophy with 353 points to Ashburton’s 345 points. Best stableford points for Hornby men were Royden Lambert 38, Mike James 37, Wayne Scott 37, Graeme Hutchinson 37, Derek Petch 35. Best points for ladies were Raylene Adler 35 by lot from Diane Alexandra and Pat Evans.
Early in March eight men went to the men’s nationals in Invercargill. Raro and Colin Ellison came thirteenth in the tournament.
Our next game is at Waimakariri Gorge on 7 April. Tee off is 9am, so please be there by 8.30am.
