April 2024 – Darts Update

Hi to everyone. The winter interclub starts on the 3 April and we have eight teams over four divisions. We have some new players and welcome you all.

The South Islands have been held and went down well. Of the six teams in the mixed pairs, all got through post play only to get put out but put up a good fight.

So, after a bit of thought, we have the Men’s and Ladie’s pairs, and bingo the doubles are working. Kayden and Jordan win the Men’s and Maata and Raewyn take out the ladies for the third year running. The ladies’ singles had all seven make it through post play and two of them in the last eight. The final saw Vernaliegh lose, but a great effort.

The last event was the men’s singles all 10 men did well with Kayden finishing 3rd equal. Kayden also won the youth title for the third time running. A great effort and his last time as he is about to turn 24. So, a great tournament with all of our top players making the South Island team.
