April 2023 Indoor Bowls Update

Our Indoor bowls season is now up and running with the start of the new Season.
Our first night playing bowls commenced really well with the addition of one new member from Blenheim, four new members from The Woolston Indoor Bowls section that has folded and two new members from Avonhead – a very welcome addition to our section.
Our season has commenced strongly with Mike King winning the Canterbury Open Singles back to back from 2022 and Dave Bullock reaching the semi-final. Congratulations guys.
A friendly and fun visit to the Richmond Club Indoor Bowls Section on Monday 20 March was enjoyed by all that attended.
All players were mixed in with Richmond teams, and by the amount of banter and laughing, it was an enjoyable evening.
