February 2021 Golf Update

The Golf section conducted the Brown Bros on 24 January with a four-person team Stableford the match of the day. Warm weather prevailed with 15 teams entered from around the region.
The major results were 1st 136 by countback B.Meatyard. G McGreddie. R Adams. P Hughes. From (136) J Webb. M Bennett. M Carter. M Cross. On 133 B Smith. S Stratford. R Thompson. T Cates. Individual Men K Melhopt 37pts, Ladies J Hosking 35 from S Griffith 35.
The section’s next game is at Kaiapoi on 14 Feb with a 9am start. Put your name up on the sections notice board at Hornby Club or just rock up on the day at 8.30 to enter. New members are MOST welcome.
